Today has been hectic, we are off to a fancy dress party tonight and my friend Alison is coming to trim the dogs, plus I have to get everything ready for the workshop tomorrow. Jo came yesterday and we sorted the packs out for the ladies, but I have to put all the stamps, ink pads etc together for the cards I've designed. Anyway DH decided that he wanted an Afro wig to go with his outfit so I had to rush over to Chesterfield to get one and do the shopping on the way back. Luckily I don't have to cook a meal tonight.
Hopefully I will be able to get the cards up on Sunday. Don't think I'll be doing it tomorrow night.
That's all for now as Alison has just arrived.

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog. Here I hope to post my card creations and tell you a little about my day to day life. I have had Cairn Terriers since 1981 and during that time I have bred and shown them. Sonny, aka Ch Shearwater Cae De Sonhas, is the one that has won the most. We took him to the World Dog Show in 2002, in Amsterdam and he won best of Breed, beating about 13 or more Champions from all over the world. He is the only British owned and bred Cairn to have ever done that.
That is my bragging over. I have been making cards for about 15 years, it followed a succession of crafts from sewing, pottery, spinning, cross stitch etc.etc.
I now hold a weekly workshop in my home for 10 friends and 2 of us take it in turns to make the samples on alternate weeks, so those are the ones I will be showing.
On Saturday we are holding an all day workshop in the local Miners Welfare Centre so have been busy creating cards for that, there will be 12 in all for the ladies to try. I don't expect they'll get through them all. I will get them posted next week I Hope!!!!!
I will now try and get this up and running - wish me luck!!
